Terms of use
JuntoCash · in force from 13 October 2026
Last updated: 13 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Teko Labs, an independent software studio in Ireland ("we"), which makes JuntoCash. By using JuntoCash you accept them. The privacy policy explains what happens to your data.
1. What JuntoCash is
A budgeting and bill-splitting app: you enter what you spend, earn and split, and it adds things up and works out who owes whom.
JuntoCash doesn't move, hold, lend or invest money, and it isn't financial, tax or legal advice. Its balances come from what you and your groups enter, so check them before you pay anyone.
2. It's a beta
JuntoCash is free and still being built. It may change, break or lose data, and features may come and go. Keep your own record of anything that matters.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or older.
- Use an email address that's yours, keep your password and recovery code safe, and tell us if someone else gets into your account.
- If you lose both your phone and your recovery code, nobody, including us, can restore your shared groups. Their other members keep them and can invite you again.
4. Groups and other people
- Anyone let into a group sees all its expenses, including past ones.
- Add only people and details they'd expect you to note about shared bills. Don't use names or descriptions to harass anyone.
- You're responsible for what you enter.
5. What you enter
It's yours. You let us store it and pass it between phones only as needed to run JuntoCash. In shared groups it's encrypted, and we can't read it.
6. Fair use
Don't break the law with JuntoCash, try to reach accounts or data that aren't yours, disrupt or overload the service, get around its limits, or send spam with invites. If you find a security problem, please tell us at hello@tekolabs.dev before telling anyone else.
7. Ending
- You can stop whenever you like: Profile → Account → Delete account, or write to hello@tekolabs.dev.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or harms others, and we'll say why unless the law or someone's safety stops us.
- We may end the beta or JuntoCash itself, with at least 30 days' notice in the app when we can. Data on your phone stays there.
8. Responsibility
We make JuntoCash with reasonable care and skill. As a free beta it comes as it is: we don't promise it will always be available, free of errors or right for a particular purpose.
We're responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or not using reasonable care and skill. We aren't responsible for loss nobody could foresee, for business losses, or for decisions you make from the app's figures.
Nothing here limits responsibility the law doesn't let us limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing takes away your rights as a consumer where you live.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. For changes that matter, we'll tell you in the app at least 30 days before they apply. If you don't agree, stop using JuntoCash and delete your account.
10. Law and disputes
Irish law applies. As a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts. Write to us first: most things are easier to sort out by email.
11. Also
- Google Play's terms also apply to downloading JuntoCash.
- JuntoCash includes open-source software under its own licences (Profile → Licences).
- If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies.
